Increase in clicks: -
Start with clicks, especially getting more clicks from Google without actually ranking higher, as that's one of the benefits of SEO.
One doesn't need to rank higher to get more traffic if one can get more clicks from already existing rankings.
Specific strategies to get more clicks without increasing rankings.
1. Favicon optimization: -
Google shows favicons in mobile search results, and they can influence click-through rate if they're high contrast, whether they're visible or not.
Having a good favicon can make a difference of a few percentage points, very little, but it does make a difference if one can do it right.
2. Breadcrumb optimization: -
While optimizing the favicons, let's take a look at the breadcrumbs optimization.
Google displays breadcrumbs in desktop and mobile search results.
These can be keyword-rich breadcrumbs, which can influence the click-through rate.
Google gets breadcrumbs from many places i.e. URL, schema markup, actual breadcrumbs on the page.
Make sure Google displays the breadcrumb trail one wants them to display, using keywords of the choice.
The best way to do this is to make sure that one actually has a breadcrumb trail on the page with links, that one uses schema markup.
Ideally, this would match the structure of the URL, so a great breadcrumbs optimization audit.
3. Meta descriptions: -
Optimize meta descriptions, which is old-school SEO.
30% of websites don't even use meta descriptions.
70% of the time, Google will rewrite the meta description, usually because it doesn't use the keywords the user searches for.
A well-designed meta description it can get users to click and means using keyword-rich descriptions that people are actually looking for, so when Google uses the meta description it encourages those clicks and acts as marketing copy for the site. Web.
4. Numbers in titles: -
With meta descriptions, titles. showing that dates added to titles increased the ranking of a particular brand.
Numbers are usually something I always test in title tags which usually produce pretty consistent results.
5. <Title> master key: -
6. FAQ and procedure diagram: -
Six: diagram, specifically FAQ and procedure diagram.
Google has given us a huge gift by bringing them into the search results.
The FAQ diagram gives a lot of SERP real estate.
One can't always win, and one can't always win the procedure diagram, but when one do, it can certainly increase or get people to click on the result, expand those FAQ diagrams.
It is not appropriate for every page. we want to make sure that we actually have these FAQs on the pages.
But it is one way, in appropriate situations, to increase clicks without increasing actual Google rankings.
Content / SEO on the page
7. Relaunch the main content: -
Content can become outdated after a few years.
Launch content by blogging and launching it, and share it on social media.
8. Increase internal links: -
Increase in internal links.
Now, a lot of top SEO agencies, when they need to quickly increase client rankings, there are usually two things they know to be the easiest levers to pull.
First, the title tags and meta descriptions, which generate more clicks, but second, the increase in internal links.
One can increase internal links on the site, and there are probably opportunities that just haven't been explored.
9. Update the old content with new links: -
Updated old content with new links.
When posting a new blog post, post new content, be sure to go back and update the old content with these new links.
So, looking at the first keyword one wants to rank for, and going into Google Search Console or checking tools like Keyword Explorer to see what other pages on the site are ranking for that keyword, and then adding some links to new content to these pages.
Reduce the bounce rate i.e. not just update the old page with fresh content and fresh links and add relevance.
Added links to new content.
So make sure when posting new content to update the old content with these new links.
10. Remove unnecessary links: -
Remove unnecessary links from the content.
A form of PageRank sculpture. PageRank sculpting is a dirty word in SEO, but it actually works to some extent.
This is not a nofollow link page sculpture.
It removes unnecessary links.
11. Mobile link parity audit: -
Performing a mobile link parity audit consists of ensuring that the links on the mobile site are the same as the links on the desktop site.
Over the past couple of years, Google has moved to a mobile index first, which is what it seems on the mobile site is the website.
A lot of sites have a desktop site and then they narrow it down to their mobile site and they're missing links.
They get rid of header navigation, footer links, and things like that.
The average desktop page has 61 links and the average mobile page has 54 links, which means that on the web as a whole, there are seven fewer links on mobile pages than on desktop pages, which means that a lot of link equity is lost.
On the own website, make sure one has mobile link parity between the desktop and the mobile site so that one doesn't lose that equity.
12. Invest in long content: -
To invest in long content.
The length of the content is a ranking factor.
Short-form content can be categorized perfectly.
It also tends to rank higher in Google search results.
13. Use more headers:-
When making this content long, be sure to use more headers.
Divide the content with good keyword-rich header tags.
14. Take advantage of thematic groups: -
Make sure to write over multiple pieces of content around the same topic and tie them together.
15. Exit the content of the tabs: -
Take the content out of the tabs.
If one has content in accordions or dropdowns or needs to click to reveal content.
Google discriminates between content in tabs.
They seem to be able to index and categorize it very well.
People typically interact with content when it's out of tabs, and maybe some of these signals are helping these pages rank a little better.
Technical SEO.
16. Core Web Vitals: -
Speed up the WordPress website and improve the score for some of these Core Web Vitals.
It's a very low cost, easy to implement, and a great way to speed up a WordPress website.
17. Limit sitemaps to 10,000: -
Sitemaps can contain 50,000 URLs per sitemap.
If one has a large site and is having indexing issues, limit sitemaps to 10,000 URLs.
It is not necessary to use all 50,000.
By using smaller sitemaps, compressing them into a limited set of URLs can actually improve the crawling of these types of sites as Google might prioritize them in one way or another.
The data seems to back it up.
Also, get a little better data from Google Search Console.
18. Leverage dynamic sitemaps:-
Also, take advantage of dynamic sitemaps.
A dynamic sitemap is a sitemap that changes based on what one wants Google to explore.
So if one has a large corpus of URLs that want Google to crawl, but the highest priority in their own special sitemap.
As Google crawls and finds them, remove them, and add additional high-priority URLs that Google wants Google to discover.
Keep the sitemap small and tight, and let Google know these are the ones one wants them to pay attention to.
19. Acquisition of passive link: -
Passive link acquisition creates content that passively generates links, as people find out in SERPs.i.e does not have to reach people.
20. The links at the page level intersect: -
The link intersections at the page level need to do awareness, we want to do awareness to the pages most likely to link.
Link building is about finding websites that link to competitors, but not just one.
21. Be the last click: -
Satisfying users by earning the first click, we want to get that first click that people click, but we also want to be the last click, that is, they found what they are looking for.
User satisfaction is the first signal.
The point with all of this is to satisfy the user, to give them what they are looking for.
