Short term forecast

It is estimated that advertisers will spend $ 60 billion on Search ads this year, which is an increase from previous estimates of $ 55 billion.

Growth is primarily driven by mobile search ads.

According to eMarketer, desktop search expenses will barely increase.

Long term forecast

By 2024, advertisers are expected to spend $ 99.2 billion on search, which is up from a previous forecast of $ 91.32 billion.

Most of this growth will be driven by mobile search ads, which are expected to account for two-thirds of search ad spend by 2024.

Google's share of the search advertising market is estimated to have increased from 61.3% last year to 54.9% in 2022.
